Craig A. Springer has been named regional revenue director for Adams Publishing Group-Eastern North Carolina, its President and Publisher Robin L. Quillon announced.
“Craig brings a wealth of knowledge, enthusiasm and dedication to this position. He is the kind of executive who leads by example,” Quillon said.
Springer will be based in Greenville, North Carolina, and will work closely with The Daily Reflector, The Rocky Mount Telegram, The Elizabeth City Daily Advance and non-daily newspapers in Hertford, Edenton, Windsor, Williamston, Ayden, Grifton, Farmville, Snow Hill and Kenansville.
A 44-year veteran of the newspaper industry, Springer most recently served as general manager and revenue director with the Times-News in Cumberland, Maryland.
Springer began his professional newspaper career with his hometown paper The Tribune-Democrat in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, serving in sales and advertising positions. He is a former carrier for The Tribune-Democrat.
