In a transaction between two family-owned publishers with a recent history of acquisitions, Wick Communications has bought The Fergus Falls (Minnesota) Daily Journal from Boone Newspapers Inc.
“Wick is very grateful to have been provided the opportunity to carry on the important and meaningful work of The Daily Journal,” said Francis Wick, President and CEO of Wick Communications. “We believe a community’s relationship with its newspaper is an essential part of maintaining a healthy and well-informed citizenry.”
Among the 27 newspapers and 18 specialty publications Wick publishes in 11 states is The Daily News, which serves Wahpeton, North Dakota, and Breckenridge, Minnesota.
